I was recently in London for my birthday and decided to do a little shopping. It was my birthday after all, so why not treat myself a little?
I wandered along Oxford Street to the LUSH store and perused their always overwhelming selection of goodies. I knew I wanted a bubble bar but was unsure of exactly which one I wanted. So I went around the store smelling everything I could and needless to say got myself covered in glitter.
I came across the Milky Bath bubble bar and was intrigued because it had a much lighter scent than the other bubble bars. I couldn’t describe the scent for you but according to the LUSH website its made with soya milk, cocoa butter, patchouli and orange oil. A combination which, to me, smells wonderful!
I picked one up and went to pay and the lady at the register was very kind and friendly. I have to say I have never had a bad experience with a LUSH employee, which is fantastic.
Once I was done at LUSH I continued wandering down Oxford Street until I came across Ben’s Cookies. They had quite the selection of cookies and, as it was my birthday, I indulged and bought seven! Of course I couldn’t eat them all myself and ended up sharing them with friends (but honestly isn’t sharing cookies with friends the best anyway?).
When I got back to the hotel room I was pleasantly surprised to find a birthday cake waiting for me! Of course I had a couple of nibbles before I snapped a photo because who can resist chocolate birthday cake?
All in all I had a nice little birthday shopping trip and I am planning to do a review of the LUSH Milky Bath bubble bar once I get the chance to enjoy it!
